Initial Teacher Training

At Mark Hall Academy we are passionate about ensuring our staff receive the correct and appropriate training to ensure they provide the best possible education to our students.

Teachers entering the profession are fully supported through a range of courses that are flexible and appropriate to the needs of the teacher and serve student, staff and Academy best.

In addition to the standard PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) route taken through a University provider there are other ways into teaching.

Below are further links to providers currently working within Mark Hall Academy.

If you are interested in getting into teaching and are unsure about the possible routes or means by which this can be made possible, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the Academy.

We have partnered with Teach First to provide School-Centred Initial Teacher Training.

Our programme offers PGCE with QTS. Our secondary offer is Epping and Harlow in Essex and Newham in London.
