Charity fundraising run

During the Easter break, on Sunday 12th April, Simon Locke and Rob Treamer will be running the London Landmarks half marathon to raise money for MCKS a charity that supports our school and local community. MCKS are the organisation that provide us with food for The Pantry and without this support many of our young people would go without.

With the support from MCKS The Pantry can provide store cupboard essentials on a regular basis to many of our families, and in addition, keeps The Orchard topped up with breakfast cereals, breakfast biscuits and squash, and the kitchen topped up with breakfast cereal to compliment the food they are already preparing each day for the breakfast club.

This support means no child in our school needs to be hungry.

Please see the link to MCKS website and their supportive statement of the work they do here MCKS Charitable Foundation UK . “MCKS UK is committed to reducing poverty and suffering. We provide practical, compassionate support to vulnerable children, families and communities, regardless of cultural, religious, or social background. Our food and education programmes deliver essential help to those facing hardship”.

If you are in a position to make even a small donation for this fantastic charity please use the Just Giving link below:
