Consultation on Proposed Change to the School Day
Mark Hall Academy, in partnership with BMAT Education Trust, is consulting on a proposed refinement to the structure of the school day from September 2026.
The current school day supports positive learning and routines for students. However, following a wider review and stakeholder feedback, we are exploring how the structure could be further strengthened.
The proposal is to move to a consistent school day of 8:30am to 3:00pm every day, with three 100-minute lessons, a 30-minute form time, and a break after each lesson.
